When chatting to couples and families at Wedding fairs and Bridal exhibitions I’ve come to realise how important it is to imagine the Wedding Day itself and then to work backwards!
This sketch shows my favourite way to set the table! The side plate balances the glasses perfectly! Far more space efficient, allowing a little more elbow room!
Take a look and let me know what you think!
This is why I love to show my stationery on actual tables – all set up with amazing flowers, crystal glasses and sparkling table ware!
There are so many different ways to present the tables and this is what will keep your wedding looking bang on trend and up to date!
This doesn’t even have to be expensive!
I combine personalised menus with the place cards, add humour or interest to the table names or numbers and it’s amazing how much different a ribbon band can make to a napkin
or a gilded pear rather than a shop bought favour can make!
In a nutshell, this is what I love about weddings! Pretty place settings that compliment the flowers. Glasses that shine in candlelight and uncluttered elegance!
Make sure that guests can see over or under your flowers! Sit down at the table and imagine how it will look on the day! Leave space for your guests to bring any pre-dinner drinks to the table and place tea-lights near the centre to avoid unwanted accidents!
If you don’t need it on the table, or it doesn’t look pretty – then get rid!
